Question… I have the oem gps mount on my ninja 1000sx also by sw motech. Would the sw motech pro micro tank bag interfere with being able to see the gps?

To me, OEM = Kawasaki. So I'm not sure what you mean when you say "oem gps mount ... also by sw motech"

I have the OEM GPS mount (Kawasaki), with a Garmin ZUMO XT attached, with a SW-Motech Pro Micro Tank bag positioned as far forward as possible. Sitting straight up when stopped, the handle on the bag crosses path with the ZUMO (first pic). When riding, leaned forward just a bit, the interference is minimal (second pic)... hasn't bother me a bit.

That said, I've been using the micro for the past couple years without any issue other than its size. I actually JUST ordered the Pro Daypack 3 days ago - it is en route UPS and should be here Tuesday (Apr 18). I know its not an incredibly huge step up, but then again, I don't want a tank bag that fits my helmet.

I had same mount. But had to find another mount for GPS because I couldn't see it. I have been using strap mount bags forever, so it was logical to get rid of OEM GPS mount.
