In case anyone was wondering what the LED bulbs are for the turn signals over conventional bulbs, you can slot a direct replacement (5009) in the front and T10 wedge bulbs in the rear.

I've already tested the linked T10 wedge bulbs and am waiting on the fronts to come from Amazon on Sunday. Assumed they were the same instead of looking 1st because I had to pull the fairings off to change them so they'll sit off the bike for a couple of days 🙃 Also, the T10 wedges definitely cause hyper flash, but I don't mind as it's more attention-grabbing.

5009 (also 7507) amber front signals

Hopefully, this will save someone else the headache that wants LED signal bulbs.

Fwiw, you can buy those 2pin LED flashers all over the net for cheap. I've bought these from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/2-Pin-Electr...ords=led+flasher+relay+2+pin&qid=1619884336&sprefix=Led+flasher,aps,245&sr=8-16

If you can wait a bit, ebay is even cheaper. I paid $16 for 5 pcs shipped. Still have 4 I think. :)

I generally don't bother replacing turn signal bulbs, unless there is good reason. On some bikes, I installed aftermarket pager/alarm system that I splice into the turn signals. Since that usage is only when ignition is off, LEDs help reduce current draw off the battery.

The first bulb I replace on a bike is always the license place light. That sucker is always ON with the ignition and the incandescent bulb wastes a lot of juice into heat. Plus a super bright white LED illuminated license plate makes the bike's rear end much more conspicuous at night.

The bulbs I linked for the front, T10 wedges for the rear, upgraded rear brake light, and splitters all installed with no flash relay and no hyperflash (info for future people searching Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX turn signals signal bulbs). The license plate light does not seem to be a plug and play bulb replacement.

Not sure if 2020+ uses a different license plate light, but on my '18, it's the same light housing that is very commonly found on many brands of motorcycles. The bulb is the same wedge type. I have a box full of LED replacement bulbs of various types and sizes, and I just found one that fit well.

If it's already LED, then probably not worth dinking with. Although, having a real bright license plate light does improve rear end visibility to other motorists. I've shoehorned a super bright square grid LED panel into the housing like these, and at night the license plate glows like it was radioactive.
