Now that's a bike! Too bad we will never see it in the US if it does get produced.

I’m sure it will be a neat bike, but when it comes to pure sport bikes I still want enough power to borderline intimidate me. if I was racing the bike it might be a different story.

Wonder what the price would be if/when it comes out. I think I would do well in U.S. since the average Joe is priced out of new 1000s, and the ZX6R will probably be the only 600 class bike left soon. And if the internet is anything to go by, the ZX25R would sell well here too, there's alot of interest in it. However, the ZX25R has a bunch of tech, imo unnecessary, raising the price; it's around $7k. A ZX4R should be priced $7k, but based on the 25 it probably will be $8k unfortunately. The 25 is 400 lbs, so if they could keep the weight around that number the bike would be super fun to ride.

You cant really do a price comparison. It wont work. When you stop and think about it, it costs Kawasaki just as much to build a zx6 as it would the zx10. Sure, they save money with suspension and brakes, but from a production standpoint, the 6 might use less aluminum for its pistons. That's about it.

The money side of it is what killed the small bikes in the first place. That combined with stupid production based racing.

Zaph would be THE ideal customer for this bike and I know without asking that he would pay more for this than a zx6 if the bike was good.,..good frame, suspension and brakes.

Or, say screw it and get the Finja zx10. Really look at it. It's not what it appears. China is awesome. I hope they make a finja h2

Hahahaha...the Chinese stuff has piqued my curiosity for sure. I can get a Chinese pit bike for $1k. Certainly a good enough price point to go ham on it and not worry about destroying it. I keep on hearing stuff about bad crashes at the track, getting paranoid about taking my bikes out there...if I move closer to a track I'll have to see if there's a cheapo Chinese track bike. The Finja..

Let's do it...we order two finja 1000. Or was it Funja? Whatever......We will get the "rr" versions, obviously. No more crash worries. Based on what I saw at the local track, with people on their 1000cc bikes, we will pass people on the funja, I promise. I really want one. Wouldnt it be the ultimate neighborhood bike?

We laugh, now, but someone needs to fill that slot that bikes like Hodaka filled. Cheap, fun, and sort-of reliable. The bikes did suck, but when you were racing against 10 of the same bikes, who cares..?
