Quick question. Got a new bike with these yellow marks all over it. Looks like some kind of check list type deal. They are on most of the nuts and other items to tighten or check. Ok, how do I get those suckers off? What’s best way? Shouldn’t the dealer have cleaned all that up?? Thanks for your help!!

In the automotive industry it is not too unusual for fasteners to be marked with a paint or marker pen of some sort. The mark will normally be on the fastener and overlap onto the stud or just off the bolt head onto fixed surface. This way if it moves the paint mark will be broken and is a quick indicator that it needs to be tightened / torque checked. As for removing them, try a little WD-40 on a rag and see if that does the trick.
