I picked up some LED bulbs for my turn signals.. I went with Amber BAU15S bulbs.

https://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/tail-brake-turn/7507-py21w-led-bulb-18-smd-led-tower-bau15s-retrofit-car/527/

They seem to be brighter But of course with the load difference I have the fast flash.

I also grabbed an electronic flasher from Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RM26LXO). It's the IJDM 2-Pin Electronic LED Flasher . It has the right connector and when the bike is off or at idle it works. Once the RPM's are up it starts to flash faster. It isn't as bad as it was with the factory flasher but it's still faster than I like.

Anyone find an electronic flasher that can use the OEM wire/connector that works well with LED bulbs?

Thanks..

Thanks... Now there are 2 options out there...

I ended up going to superbright LEDS and got a LF1-S-FLAT: Universal Flat Motorcycle Flasher for $9. I ordered some amber bulbs for the rear lights (1156-A45-T), although I did have to file off one nub on each bulb.

I learned the hard way that BAU15S-A18-T: Amber won't fit in the rear.. But they do fit the front.

I went with the Custom LED turn signal flasher. It has like 10 different flast rate/patters to choose from and blinks at the correct speed with LED's.

It was a little spendy, but IMHO worth it.

A pain to remove and install on the first gen Ninja 1000's as it's in the upper fairing bracket.

Also as another option if you are a handy DIY type guy, most auto parts stores sell non load dependent turn signal flashers. You usually have to clip the oem connector off the wiring harness to make it work, but they are cheap and usually in stock.
