Wow says he was there from the day before. Ouch. I always stop and ask if assistance is needed even on side of the road break downs. Ride safe Gang
It's nice to see some news about people helping each other rather than the normal negative crap. I'll stop to help someone on the side of the road but in the back of my head I'm always thinking this person might try something but they probably think that about me. Most people are good though.
That's true. It's sad that we have to think whether it's a trap or a scam.
Buddy of mine was following another guy (he didn't know him) through Deal's Gap last week. They guy low sided and slipped off a 30 foot embankment. If my buddy hadn't seen him he may not have been found for days. As it was he had a concussion but it could have been so much worse.

I love to ride alone but I usually keep the pace down quite a bit then. Heck as old as I'm getting my pace is always pretty slow! LOL
Yeah, good point. Embankments. Yikes.

Was a back seat cage passenger late last night on a 3+ hr drive back from Kelowna to Abbotsford along the Coquihalla, and we hit a long stretch of sand-on-road* on a tight downhill corner over a very long cliff just above Merritt. It was suddenly touch & go whether we'd take a very extreme (and fatal) short cut! Thankful we kept traction. If riding it would have almost certainly been all over.

*Crack sealing, with signage but much more dangerous than I think is prudent by the construction folks.
