TourMaster Elite Bags

I just ordered these bags for my 2015 N1K, and I think they look pretty good. I was looking for something easy to put on and take off that could carry a decent amount of stuff, and these caught my eye. I really wanted hard bags, but couldn't stomach the $$$. There is a top bag and tank bag to match this set if I needed a little more room. You can see the bags on the bike and off, and they come with a nice carry handle that keeps the bags together. These bags are not waterproof, but they come with rain covers that fit tightly. There is no contact with the paint when these bags are installed.

I have a very old set of Tour Master bags. I bought them in the mid 1990's. I have about 30k miles on them but they have only been to about 120 mph.. (They haven't been on my N1k yet).

Basically, I'm saying if the quality is still the same, they will last forever..

Nice! I have the Kriega luggage system. Lots of different configurations but the pic below is in full tour mode - 40 liters of gear. During the summer when I do day rides I just use a tank bag or maybe a 10 liter tailpack to hold tire repair kit, water, plexus, jacket liner, etc.

Yea, I prefer a soft luggage...Kriega looks fine, as well as the Tourmaster..

does the Kriega system just strap on the bike?
