Did they make the ride more comfortable? Does it affect the twisties when you rode it?

For me, they did not make the ride more comfortable. My reason for lowering the bike was to be able to flat foot the bike when stopped. They did not affect the ride for me in the twisties. I lowered the rear of the bike 1.5 inches. I did not lower the front of the bike by adjusting the height of the fork tubes. If you think about it, it is similar to having a passenger on the back in terms of the amount the rear lowers if you do not change the preload on the rear shock.
