Yes I have the Motech Saddlebags. They are great for what I need which is about 2 or 3 trips a year with a lot of gear. The rain hood is not so good since they tend to fall off at high speed.
I mount mine backwards since they fit better this way and I put the connecting band (with velcro) under the rear pillion. I also made a frame to keep them level.

Sorry I responded too quick I guess since... duh
... actually I don't have the Blaze saddle bags, I just have the Moto Centric Saddle bags.
I did look into the Motech Blaze and was intrigued by the simple support rods but could not afford them at that time and bought the others for $105 on sale.
