Hi all,
Anyone use the Snapjack V2 on 2020 1000sx. Thinking it would be good for chain maintenance. Any thoughts, please.

I bought one, tried it, all it did was pivot my bike around the parking space. Returned it. Was pretty unimpressed.

I bought one as well for my 2015 Ninja. At first I found it would pivot the back end as mentioned. I ended up putting a 40lb weight beside the kick stand and holding the swingarm while pulling towards me while pressing the jack. It ended up working to get the rear tire about 1/2 inch off the ground. So far it seems a bit simpler than the rear stand for lubing the chain.

It took some time to find just the right distance/angle etc. Once I had it I am satisfied with it.

Here is how it works best for me. It is important to hold the swing arm while pushing the jack in so it does not move away from you. Its hard to capture in a photo, but the tire is clear of the ground. I can get the tire 1/2 inch off the ground by moving the bottom of the jack closer to the wheel, but I think the best outcome is to have the tire lifted just enough to clear the ground so you are not lifting it any higher than necessary.

I find this easy to do by myself, though I would recommend having someone spot the other side of the bike the first few times you do it while becoming familiar with the feel of it.

I would recommend this for easy chain maintenance.
