They are like the puig, so you get to set the angle . I like that.
I went to a totally solid rearset. Even with the solid pegs, the rearset assembly is still rubber mounted. If I noticed any extra vibration, with the 100% solid set up, it wasnt enough to mention. I think Kawasakis idea was good, but it doesnt work very well.
Yeah that was what i liked about the Puigs so i looked around for a similar type of system.
I think the Puigs would be better for adjustment - the Daytona's have a little pin that acts as a stop so the position is limited, and you just have to hold it in place while you tighten the retaining bolt.
If this still felt to squishy, I was going to either buy some OEM Z1000 rearsets or hope one of the big names had compatible rearsets out soon.
Lighttech, Bonnamici, Woodside, I think Sato - those are the only big names that have proper distributers I could actually call up.
I spent a long time looking at the Owner Centre Parts diagrams between the 2020 / 2019 and earlier 1000's and Z1000s
