Robo Cop

I saw the trailer for Robo Cop coming 2.14.14, I think.

It appears to be better than the earlier 80's version. The production value is upped and it addresses some moral/ethical questions.

The other thing that caught my attention was the motorcycle he rides. I only saw glimpses but it looked hard core.

i totally forgot this was coming out, heard about it late 2013.
after seeing the trailer, i can't wait!

Wish i knew what bike was being used but it sounds like a Yamaha.

Trailer:
the illusion of free will. I quite enjoyed that. Isn't it already quite close to our day to days. People scurrying about debating Chicken or Beef, android or iphone, GM vs Ford.

We all so free we think the same, but isnt that the illusion....

Here are some photos I found of the motorcycle

According to publications it is most likely a Kawasaki Z1000.

The front brakes and forks suggest that at least.

Whatever it is it looks really awesome. I wonder if it is a working bike. Maybe they will bring it to some bike shows once it gets closer to the release of the movie. That is what they are doing with the Mustang that is in Need for Speed.

Seeing this bike makes me want to paint the ninja 1000 in all matte black. Maybe add just a few yellow accents or something.

Are you talking about the moral questions and ramifications of the movie?

You should see some N300s plasti-dipped in matte black or gunmetal.
Nice undercover work, stayup.
My mistake, debut is Friday 2.12.14

I was thinking of House of Cards on Valentines Day.
Did some Google searching but I couldn't find any black N300s. Does anyone know of or have any pictures of a matte black N300? Just curious how they look now. Is it expensive to paint your bike in matte black with plastidip?

Its interesting because a movie will highlight an important moral question that often becomes lost in the spectacle, after all it was just a movie, what could it show us about real life?

Thats exactly what is so dangerous, the truth often hides in plain sight. We're getting into an interesting discussion about cognition and pre programmed actions induced by roots sown through media saturated lives and indoctrination through education.

Unfortunately i don't think this is the place for that discussion :D Just remember the goal of propaganda is not to convince you, but to reinforce. Its prime motive is action, or more importantly no-action....

You know to me it actually looks like a Kawasaki ZX-10R or something of that nature. The aggressive seating position with the high tail and slim front cowl all remind me of it.

I love that this has come up on a motorcycle forum of all places! I wont dig into it but glad to see there are other sentient beings out there :)
I saw RoboCop yesterday. The remake is much better than original but that wasn't a high bar to cross. To be fair for its time, 1987, it was groundbreaking.

They do address questions of free will, what is moral and what are the defining qualities that make us human.

The movie is average but I was rooting for so much better.

The motorcycle scenes are impressive and lust inducing. I would like a motorcycle duel between RoboCop and Batman's version of a motorcycle.
Talk about turning on a dime.
