"Old life crisis"
After much negotiating with my wife, I am now a proud owner of a 2014 Cascade Blue Ninja 1000. The past year I had been riding a 2013 Triumph 800 Tiger. Although it was a great bike, I found that it didn't meet all of my needs. I am still breaking in the Ninja, and hope to put on some more miles soon, if it ever stops raining(I live in the Portland, Oregon area).

I hear ya on the weather front. I winter in Florida & left when it was sunny & 85 to come back to 40-50s & rain. Finally starting to warm up. What are your initial impressions on the N1K?
