I'm currently riding an '09 Ninja 500, but planning to upgrade to a '14 Ninja 1000 in the next week or so.

Welcome and nice looking bike.
You Wisconsin guys have some good roads to the north and west. I was born and raised in Crivitz, WI. After highschool I joined the Navy and since then I've lived on each coast and a couple spots in the middle of the USA. I plan on retiring here on the east coast, good roads, still get 4 seasons but no northern Wisconsin winters.
