Hi everyone! I'm Dean from Fort McMurray, Alberta. I've been riding pretty much my whole life, starting with dirt bikes. I own an 08 ZX10R, and over the winter I picked up a 2014 Ninja 1000. My wife owns a 2013 Triumph Daytona, and we ride as much as we can.
I recently returned from a 4500km trip through the Kootenays', and the bike performed beautifully! Anyway, that's me, and here are some pics.:)

Welcome seasoned rider

That's quite a stable. What exhaust is on the ZX-10? vance & hines?
Welcome nice picture of the Kootenays. I love the lakes. We will be up in your area in August, not on the Ninja.
Nice man I am planning a trip from fl to California to visit my brother in the af still have to get a few things like dry bag and GPS mount and some fuel canisters but I'm looking forward to it trying to make the ninja 1000 a full touring bike lol
Welcome. We wrote the other day about gearing over at STN. What windscreen is that on your ninja?

Thanks Tony, yes it's a Vance and Hines CS one. Nice deep tone.

Yes, I had never been through the Kootenays before and it was incredible!

I found this bike to be great for touring; I ordered a seat, and I'm doing a gearing change, but other than that, it was perfect!

Hey O F! The windscreen is a Puig. Can't say it's a huge difference over stock. It helps a bit.

Thanks for the welcome guys!
Beautiful pics of a memorable ride!! Glad you signed up & can share your riding adventures.
