MondoMotos anyone?

Has anyone tried the MondoMotos MM10 lights on the N1K? These look well made, and the price isn't bad, but I wanted to see if anyone on this forum had any experience with these lights.
thanks,
Adam

I've got them and really like them. The only downside is that after ~5 months, the black finish on them is looking more bronze than black.

They put out a LOT of light and are reasonably easy to install. Take a look at my photo gallery. I have a couple there that show them installed.

How do they compare to these? It seems they both have the same output although there are no lumen values listed.
What's the reason for the lower cost?

The MM10 uses cree leds, is that the reason

It looks like the major differences are:

  • No wiring harness included
  • No switch included
  • The beam focus is a little wider. (Narrower focus allows for better directional aiming so the light appears brighter in the area where it's aimed.)
The folks at MondoMoto are pretty responsive and can probably give a better answer than this...
Exact same light but the price at superbrightleds is per light and doesn't include wiring harness or switch. Add them all up and you get just about the same price.
The SE10s are $40 for the pair. Superbrights are $50 each.
Hello Mondomotos!

I sent a note to Mondomotos about the difference and I also read that it is the cree vs a china clone and the finish material.
