I hated the way the clutch lever stuck straight out but the brake lever was angled down like every bike I have ever owned. The tab that holds the adjustment wheel on the clutch cable was the whole reason it wouldn't go down any further. I removed the tab and cut it in half. Then I bent it back straight and reinstalled it. It let me lower the clutch lever to match the brake and it looks and feels much better now. Very easy if anybody wants to do it. All you need is a 5mm allen wrench, phillips screw driver and some cutters.

Good deal! I tried lowering mine too but that piece of metal is indeed in the way. Got used to it in the meantime but may do it anyway when I have some time to tinker with it.

I like how you fixed the metal piece. I did mine, similar, but instead of cutting it, I drilled a new hole that ended up making it stick out less.

Just like you guys, I could get mine to the 90% correct position, but not 100. This will be nice.
