Have any of you lowered your bars like this guy?

I need more forward lean and a greater distance to the bars. This looks ideal.
A little collision with the wind screen in the lowest position but I can live with that.

The question is how secure are they? If you look the clip-ons overlap the fork tubes rather than sit in the stock position. Plus the bike no longer goes all the way to the full lock position so now you would go from big turn radius to huge.

they do look like they hit the fairing trying to go full lock. I like the idea of lower bars though.

I think he went a little overboard, like the others mentioned.

I would go about a half inch higher than he did, but raise the back end to compensate.

Maybe a poofier seat will help too.

Apex bars, you can adjust to taste, and then the next guy can as well )
Thanks. I'll check it out. I'm not getting rid of this bike so quick so no one's going to be getting my mods! Not right away at least... b*tch :D
