First I want to say thanks for all of the excellent information that is on this forum. I have a couple of ideas of what I want to do with my bike and where I want to go with it.
I joined a little bit ago when the Ninja 1000 piqued my interest. It started first by SaltTheWound's videos, and secondly by my boss's recommendation on what I should look at buying.
Then I went to a "local" dealer and checked out the 2015. I was in love instantly with it in black. I proceeded to set myself up to buy. Over the month it took me before I was ready to purchase, the price had increased $1,300USD. I was not going to pay that extra $1,300USD.
So I did a quick Craigslist search and found a 2014 with 1,266mi (listed). This forum and Google helped me find what little differences (are there any?) between the 2014/2015.
But it's green! I'm NOT a fan of green...
And it's growing on me...
Rode it home, of course. What fun is buying a bike to only have to trailer it back?
Bike started with 1396mi when I picked it up, now has 1449mi on it. It's excellent. Even though it was raining I was very happy with the entire ride - granted, gear helped with that.
Anyways, I could go on and on. Very excited about the bike, how it rides, and the future I will have for riding it.
