I am a lucky idiot...

This morning I couldn't find my keys so I just grabbed a 2nd set.. No biggie, sometimes I put it down where it doesn't belong, like the fridge...

Anyway, I ride to work (20 miles) then another 15 or so in town and stop at best buy to pick up my copy of Mad Max...

I come out to my bike, holding my keys in my hand what do I see?? My other set of keys hanging under the bike, in the rear seat lock/release.

I can't believe I managed to drive 35 miles to/through town and parked at best buy for 20 minutes with a key just hanging there and my bike was still sitting there when I came out...

I think I should buy a lottery ticket...

The Lord helps the feeble minded.

People are honest or more likely they didn't see the keys underneath. I'm surprised it survived the jarring and pounding of the streets.
LOL, how about leaving them in the ignition about half the time...not saying I do this.. well maybe a third of the time :)
I saw a ducati multi with the keys in the ignition. My first thought was bad but I grabbed my trusty note pad and wrote a note that I test rode the **** out of it, rolled it up and put it in the middle of his key ring. I hung out for about 10 minutes but no one showed up so I took off.(in my truck btw)

I've done that at the house a few time, but that's common here as people in my neighborhood (if you can call it that) leave keys in the ignition or in the ashtray all the time... Nice thing about living in the boonies... I've called a neighbor to borrow his big truck/trailer and the keys are always in it.. Heck, He's borrowed my tractor but that doesn't use a key..

I have left it in the ignition once when I went to eat.. I had good sushi and my bike was still there even though it wasn't the best neighborhood.. Scared the crap out of me when I walked to the bike and saw the key sitting in the ignition..

brain not

yep done all that including leaving keys in front door overnight
I always lose my key and that's where I always find it
I typically leave my keys in my bikes in the garage. It's a bad habit cause I forget and leave them in the ignition when I'm out and about...eating and what not. God I love to eat. Anywho...I'm old enough to have good insurance though. LOL

A dangerous practice when you take out the Duke...very tempting to take a joy ride
