HID light kit, did I buy the right one?

So I've found some threads on this subject but didn't want to add to them since it's more of a specific question. I was riding at night the other day with my GF riding behind me (newer rider) who was relying on me to get home. I couldn't see anything! I live in the mountains, no street lights, lots of trees, deer, and bears, so lights kinda important. My friend suggested I buy these:

Kensun HID Xenon H7 Conversion Kit - "ALL COLORS" - 6000k - 2 Year Warranty https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004ZF31PC/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_7PwRvbQNBKDRN

But I've read on other threads that others have had issues with fitment on some of these kits. (Not necessarily this one) so I wanted to know if this would indeed fit a 2012 N1K.

It SHOULD work but there are a couple things I'm not clear about with the article in Amazon:

  1. Will each bulb be able to be triggered separately - One for low beam and the other for high. You can't really tell from the item description if they're both triggered at the same time.
  2. How long are the bulbs? If you're putting them in the stock headlight enclosures, I'd be worried about them hitting the inside reflector. I bought a set similar to this one a few months ago and the bulbs would not fit. I've seen others install them with some homemade spacers so if that's the case when you get these, that's a route you can take.
I believe the headlight assembly for the 2012 is the same as my 2015 so hopefully, these work out for you. Keep us posted.
I ordered the exact light set from Amazon and tried it out. They fit and they don't fit I would say. The light bulb base fit, but the OEM base is much thicker than the Kensun's so you might need to make a spacer for it to secure it. The electrical connector doesn't fit directly, the terminal is just placed too narrow that you would have to modify it. I found a better maker: DDM Tuning: HID and LED Lighting

LIFETIME WARRNTY!

You might have already found your HID kit by now, just my two cents.
