You waited until you upgraded before you joined?
What are the pros/cons of '12 vs '15?

LOL.. No just saw another post and figured i would join. Always was on another forum..

Differences

Seat is better...ever so slightly angled better...slightly softer
Throttle response much better... Smoother less twitching... Actually big difference
Shifting smoother - much smoother
Power is better however not lightning faster - but noticeable (and not broken in yet)
Breaking much better - significant in feeling
Lol horn is better - not by a whole lot but there is a difference.
Less motor buzz at all revs - huge difference
Lower RPM...very noticeable - contributes to less motor buzz
Tires much much much better... Can tell already!
Suspension seems the same for front...rear seems more responsive yet softer...
Instruments have all you need except gear indicator...much improved. I like the distance to empty and comment temp
Side mirrors are significantly better... huge difference
Finally helmet lock in rear seat
No exhaust valve...completely removed
Turn signals improved on rear..much brighter
Break light now all red LEDs.. Very bright
More room in headlight compartment (easier to replace bulb) on right side.
Headlights still suck
Far less engine breaking...
Traction control.. Haven't tested it.
Abs haven't tested it..but my 2012 worked great lol

So you're saying they're about the same :D
Thanks for the list. Reading various forums & comments therein it's a little challenging to keep a mental picture of which year a given poster is referring to. Your evaluation of which common issues the earlier models had, that have now been improved, is helpful.
Welcome... If you're ever up in the Hudson Valley drop a line. Many great roads up here.
That's quite a write up. Thanks for sharing & glad your initial impressions of your new ride are so positive.
Welcome to the forum and thanks for that comprehensive list... I ride a 2012 and have been contemplating upgrading. After the '16s are out I may go in and try to drive a bargain on a '15.
