Hello. Derek from Nanaimo here. I don't own a ninja 1000, but my wife owns a 2013 in black and white. It is a spectacular motorcycle! It is her third Ninja (250, 650, 1000). I am a Yamaha guy but will be doing the maintenance on her bike so I thought I would join up here. I will be searching the maintenance and modification areas.
Thanks for the welcome! It sounds like a cold, wet ride if it's in 2 weeks. If you are around Nanaimo in the warmer months, we do a group ride on monday nights. message me for details.
