Hey there, another crazy Canuck from the frozen tundra trying to survive these intolerable temps!
Good thing for me my new 2013 N1K will be delivered this Saturday to my home, I hope!
I will not be able to ride it for another 2 and 1/2 months but at least she will have a nice heated garage to sleep in.

Any hoo, glad to be on this forum and I hope to get to know some of you nice gents and ladies.
Cheers,
Den

Welcome!, 2.5 months from now in Canada is a testament to his ability to withstand cold :)
Welcome, NinjaDen. But could you please do something about this recent cold blast of air coming from your neck of the woods to here in Pennsylvania? I mean, really . . . . . .

Sorry "The Goof" I wish I could help you and if I could I would change our weather up here in the North!
I will be counting the days till spring!
Welcome aboard Den! :D
Welcome.
How come there's not a problem with the northern border?
not much snow but cold!

Hey ToNY97,
Not sure what you mean?
But if you are talking about snow fall, we haven't had much this year but we have been getting freezing temps, -38 celcius (metric) with the wind chill on most days.
That is friggin cold!
Exposed body parts will freeze in about 15 minutes!

LOL, I think he means, how come you Canucks aren't trying to sneak down across the border, like people are sneaking up through our southern borders. ;)

I guess I fall into that category, I moved to New Hampshire, from Sherbrooke, when I was 6. I only go back to visit in the summers. There is a reason why I live in New Mexico now, 4 mild climates, and a 12 month riding season!

Summer is just around the corner my friend, think warm thoughts!

Ah okay, I get it now!
Actually Florida is crawling with Canadians this time of the year.
There is a place in Florida where there is so many old age French-Canadian folks that they call it Little Quebec and they have their own local newspaper.

A good friend of mine is moving to California and I plan to visit him next year with my bike, should be a blast!
I will have to check out New Mexico if I have time.
Cheers,
Den

Den, and anyone else that passes through New Mexico,

I am located in Albuquerque, and all are welcome to stop and visit or overnight if needed.
Enjoy your trip to Cali, riding the coast hwy is a must do! Swing through my piece of the desert if you have a chance, and I will show you some surprising curvy roads.

My Ducati-riding neighbour just spent 10-days with his brother riding in and around Escondido, California. When he left we had minimal snow. He came back to about 2 feet of it! I would have turned around and got back on the plane.

Hey Bart,
I may take you up on that offer, but it will not be until next year 2016.
My good buddy is turning 50 next year so he wants to do the Cali ride as a bucket list thing.
But I will be sure to suggest that we take a little detour and visit you and your beautiful state.
I have heard great things about it and seen some wonderful pics!
Cheers,
Den
