Hello everyone. Well I will be joining the Ninja 1000 club this weekend. I was about to purchase a brand new 2014 bike today, and happened upon a sweet used bike. They have been few and far between, so it was perfect timing. I am buying the bike for $8200. It already has OEM hard bags, OEM gel seat, ASV levers, Murphy risers, new tires, and 12k service. It is in pristine condition. Even with the large 3k discount on a brand new bike, I cant get near this price with those accesories. I am very excited. Here are a few pics. I am driving down to pick it up on Saturday.

congrats on the sweet deal, and welcome to the forum!
Thanks for the welcome guys. Glad to hear I got such a great deal. I will definitely post pics this weekend when I pick her up.
Welcome
So I guess you can ride as soon as you pick it up.
In an act of solidarity with your frozen brethren, perhaps you will wait until spring too. Who needs a breath taking scenic coastal highway or canyon carving.
Errrr those of us who can do ToNY, well maybe except for this weekend, the rain is back Saturday afternoon! ;)
I am picking it up first thing saturday morning to try and beat the rain home ;)

Well she is home! 3 minutes after I got on the freeway, torrential downpour started lol. I just tucked and sucked it up. Luckily it only lasted a few minutes. Got dumped on again one more time, but that was it. The rest of the 3.5 hour ride was great. What a fabulous bike. There was an added mod bonus I wasn't informed of, a Scorpion alarm. After my first ride, I have already been a busy bee ordering parts :) Here is a list of what I already ordered.

- CST-1537-16 16 tooth front sprocket
- Puig green windscreen
- Motowerk Lowering Foot Pegs Blocks
- Motowerk Adjustable Brake Lever Nut
- Ninja black/green Reservoir Socks
- Spider Peak Grips black/black
- Blind spot mirrors

The only other things I am considering are wheel tape, sheepskin buttpad, and possibly some performance mods (at least slip-ons, V&H). Any good recommendations for wheel tape that matches the lime green color well?

I thought the '14 mirrors were an improvement and didn't need spacers.
Consider bar end mirrors.

You can't go wrong with urban brawlers. The look and sound is amazing but the value is incredible. Get the black ones from ridersdiscount.com for $275. ask for brad.
Good pic, Marvin!
Funny coincidence that you bought your Ninja from a BMW dealer and I traded my BMW bike to a Kawi dealer for my new 2013 Ninja.
Lol
