Yep, the Beeline highway... It did rain a couple of times along the way, the temps were not too cold - and my gear dried in 10 mins :)
Great pic! Another road for the bucket list.

Except for the fact that the 10 fwy is destroyed, all good :D. Looks like a nice road!

The beeline hwy, from fountain hills to Payson used to be a great road back in the 90's before they straightened out the curves and turned it into a 4 lane road ;-(
It's still a fun road, but you need to break into the triple digits to get a thrill with those huge sweepers.
Better to ride 191 between Alpine and Morenci. now THAT's a road, to ride!

Hwy 60 between Globe and Show Low is fun too. Especially where it crosses the Salt River. I took my Nighthawk up there last weekend and ran up and down that short section 6-8 times.

You should try HWY 191, (formerly known as HWY 666), between Morenci and Alpine.
95 miles of back to back curves, awesome views, no cops, and little traffic.
Phenomenal road...

Me and a buddy might do Devil's Hwy soon. I'd like to maybe make it an overnight trip. The full route seems to be a little over 300 miles.
Here's a couple more pics of Arizona in the morning...

I didn't expect US 89 from Prescott to Congress to be as good as it was. Much of that is new pavement this year.
