This weekend I was trying to strap a bag on the rear seat using my Rok straps and the strap just kept sliding off the end of the grab rail. The rail just gradually tapers down and would not hold the strap even crossing at an angle. I decided I needed some kind of stop, so I removed the grab rail and headed to Lowes. My wife and son would not let me drill a hole in the rail on my new bike, so here is what we came up with. The final outcome is fairly nice and I didn't have to drill anything.

Thats a mod I can afford..well, almost. Its nice to see a good, real mod to our bikes that does nto cost 300.00. Nice work!
Maybe slightly slower but does wheelie easier because of the weight behind the rear wheel.
