I recently purchased a Gel Seat from a forum member. After about 50MI realized the seat was no better than stock, maybe worse. Everyone's weight body type is different, what works for some may not for others.
So, modifications where in order and I purchased some foam, 1/2" sunmate on the bottom with 1/2" Pudgee on top, both Med. grade.
SunMate Orthopedic Cushions by Dynamic Systems, Inc. — Dynamic Systems, Inc.
Cut out the Gel insert which is hard as a rock BTW and squared off the pocket and installed new foam.

Took a few test rides before getting it the way I wanted the contour. I learned from my last Mod that I wanted more in front and lower in the back.

Covered the seat with 3/16 air-conditioning filter foam and plastic on top ( Pudgee is open cell and soaks up water if not covered)

Comfort of a seat is personal, I've had three Corbins which are always hard and sit me back further than I desire. Sargent are what I would consider a bread-loaf seat putting you up to high (maybe be fine for taller people)
Went for a 200MI ride with no hot spots and no more sliding toward the tank braking or on downhill roads. Very noticeable is the comfort and softness when hitting bumps.
Just ordered Stapler:
20 Gauge Wide Crown Stapler
Should make jobs in the future easier.
