First ride

Finally went for my first ride on my N1K13 - Black and White, on Easter Good Friday.
Did just over 200kms, did a tour of cottage country (Almonte to Calabogie, Ontario, then back to Ottawa) down the twisty 511 and then the 508. The scenery was beautiful with frozen lakes and snow covered rock cliffs!
it was plus 15 celcius and sunny!
My N1K13 was amazing, I love her!
The most comfortable bike I have ever owned, the ergonomics are perfect,
the power is addictive and the handling is spot on!
I did not push her too much as I am still breaking her in, but it was still a lot of fun!
Can't wait to take her on a nice long ride.
Cheers,
Den:D

Awesome way to kick off the season!
Fantastic! I too like the relaxed style of the bike, and yes, the power is addictive :) Coming from an '06 Z750S, I have developed a taste for this style of bike and don't suspect I'll deviate from it when it comes to the sport bike I keep in the garage :D
It certainly was an epic ride!
I just wish I had a Go Pro camera so I could have showed you guys the scenery that I was passing by.
We have some awesome roads and some beautiful lakes and rivers that are all along the roadside and easily accessible for camping.
You all have to come up sometime to my province and enjoy some great riding!
This Sunday I am going to Smiths Falls thru some historic towns dating back over 150 years with most of their buildings still in place and being used by various shops and stores, big tourist draw!
Cheers,
Den

Hey guys,
Sorry for the late reply but finally got a pic of my baby and first ride of 2016 on March 12th, you will notice we still have snow here on the side of our roads and lots of dirt and water.
My baby is good and dirty now!
I need to do like maxmimus96792 and give her a good wash!

nice looking bike.be carefull with all the sand on the roads.
I've been in the San Francisco Bay Area for 30 years, but I grew up in (and around) Toronto.

You are definitely on the motorcycle early for this winter. Be careful! But we get it...it's a blast on the ninja, and hard to just watch it in the garage.
Ish im over in the Modesto Area, not too far away.. Weather looks good this week to get out and ride!

Hey there Cerwindel. I will PM you about riding. I don't want to hijack our new members thread.
Not too bad

No worries, my buddy and I just went for a 1 and 1/2 hour ride in the country on a couple of backroads, just a few sweepers, no tight twisties,
so it was all good.
But my baby is good and dirty now, needs a good wash!

Yeah this was the earliest I ever got on out on a bike in the spring.
Toronto got even better weather than us in Ottawa!
I know some guys there that have been riding since end of Feb. early March.

It's going to be plus 11 this Sunday March 27th, so I will be out again for another ride and then another bike wash!
Lol
No worries

No worries Dude, hijack away!
I am just happy that you US guys actually take the time to read my threads!
I wish more of my fellow Canadian riders checked them out!
Lol
Cerwindel and Ishikawa - If you end up riding in the bay area look me up. I'll should be back in that area on Friday sometime and definitely ready to do some riding.
