Motorcycle Scooters ATV Engine Exhaust Pipe Black Frame Sliders Crash Protector | eBay
These are shorter but I'm trying to find out from vendor if they would fit our bike.
The "missiles" that do fit would seem to protrude more than the engine frame sliders up front. Does that geometry affect slide and bike survivability? Would you want the first thing to hit the pavement to be the most secure (more points of connection to bike)?

It's supposed to be a 10mm thread. Is that the oem thread size below our passenger peg/exhaust strap?
I have no idea on the size of the bolt itself but the size needed to remove the bolt is a 8mm. I just checkedCan someone verify that the bolt next to the passenger peg and used for the exhaust strap is 10mm
Any update?Something Different to me but none the less Important I feel.
Exhaust sliders. Found them on Ebay From China. Anyone ever
Drop a bike using these? Im Curious how they hold up.
Id only ever seen the wrap around type until this.
I Like it so far, and welcome the added Protection in a drop.

I think one could be fabricated to suit your specialized needs. For Example, These Huge Missiles I have on mine work for the purpose i Keep them on for. For me its stand up Wheelies. When the front goes up, they act as more foot space and feel really comfortable. So yeah, get what works for your riding needs. And if all else fails......... Good ole' Fabrication is always an option........... Like this picture I FabricatedAny update?
Those work for full size mufflers like the Yoshi but it would really stick out like a sore thumb with urban brawlers.
If they offered a shorter delrin puck that would be a great option.
Can someone make a shorter slider with a carbon finish? Is that asking too much?
I just took that bolt off with a 6mm allen wrench. The bolt diameter with threads is just shy of 10mm.I have no idea on the size of the bolt itself but the size needed to remove the bolt is a 8mm. I just checked
