What size is this nut? or is there some special tool needed to remove this nut so I can change the sprocket?Thanks.:confused:

I'm not sure what the size the nut is on this bike but from past experience on Kawasaki's the counter sprocket nut is installed by four very large gorillas they employ at the assembly plant. A heavy duty air impact usually does the trick.

I found out on another forum that the nut size is 27mm or 1 1/16", either size will fit.

Yep the counter sprocket nut is put on at the factory and probably in the range of 92 ft./lbs. of torque.

Yes the nut is 27mm and I got mine off with HD electric impact gun. The proper torque setting is 92 ft/lbs.
