If Suzuki built that bike today, it would be more successful than it was back then .

Look at the stock bike for comparison. This one has had some serious mods.

Yeah 240 conversion and single sided swing arm.
It's rare to even see a b-king in the first place. If I was in the market, I'd snag it up.

The OEM version looked like trash and goofy as hell

I've seen a grand total of one B-King in real life. The rider was at least 70, and maybe older. The bike was stock except he had added one of the clamp on windshields like you order from the JC Whitney catalogue.

He was an excellent rider and I enjoyed following him up the canyon on my sv650. The rider told me it was the best sport tourer he ever owned.

In a tight canyon, the big engines are amazing. Drop the bike in 3rd gear and never have to shift again.

Wow, hearing JC Whitney is a blast from the past. As a kid, I'd read them from stem to stern.

I just saw a B King about a month which was the first I'd seen one in a decade. She owns two of them and has one for sale. She takes good care of the one she rides and seems to be a formidable rider.

I remember when it came out and all the hoopla. I respect what it is, but I wouldn't get one.

I could see owning one if there was an option for wind protection and maybe even bags . Naked it's pretty useless.

If they had wrapped this bike in the GSXS bodywork, and bags, they would create an excellent sport tourer.

I just dont like fairing bikes made naked they seem wrong like they are missing something - i appreciate the work and am fine with other people liking it.

The B King was supposed to be turbocharged. An H2 before Kawasaki planned theirs.

When it was released the styling turned everyone off and the engine was a huge disappointment from what we were supposed to have .

They were discounted down to the 7-8000 range and they still didn't sell.

The days of pure speed are coming to an end weather you like it or not - enforcement is catching up and taking over and legislations in many countries are allowing for and requiring speed limiters in vehicles - Why not have something Visceral and endorphine releasing instead - the induction / engine sound on a H2 is amazing - to the point If i got one I would keep the exhaust quieter to hear that engine..
Different countries of course but I now only buy stuff that moves me emotionally speed is just no longer a consideration.

My favorite hypernaked from that time was the BMW K1300R. That asymmetrical headlight made it look sick.

Rock had one of those.. That bike would have been awesome if it had a normal fork, but I love it's look as well.

I even have the hot wheels version...one blue. One red.
