Is it too good to be true ?
Let's hope it will actually last over time & it becomes available to a wider market.

I could pick a nice argument, with myself, over this one. I really dont know which side of the argument I believe.

In ways, it's no different than any chain we currently use. When we lube these o ring chains, the last thing we would want is for the dort and grime to enter the sealed pin area.

This chain looks like the solution to the chain OCL had, on his older ninja. I'm not sure where the thread is, but his original chain was covered in this red, rust like coating and was falling apart.

I imagine BMW has an exclusive deal on this for a given time. Then, everyone will have one. It was like that with x ring technology. No one had it, then everyone had one. I think BMW wants 350 for this chain.

That chain would outlast most of the bikes I've had so it would be cheaper just to clean it and lube it twice 😀
Looks like a good start for the future of chains though.
