Well im currently in a different location of the world but have had alot of extra time to finally come to a sound discussion on the next bike i want. and after speaking with Household 6 i got the clearance.

the only stipulation that she had was, that i need to sell the old Kitty Kat before i can get the new one. ive had a 06 Suzuki Kat750 for the past 7 1/2 years. bought her used with only 86 miles on it. now she has over 50k.

just posted the bike for sale last night on the web and already found someone who wants her. looks like i need now is to get back to Germany so i can move over to team green (but going to get the blue).:)

Welcome to the newest and freshest N1K forum on both sides of the Atlantic.

I really cant wait to get back to the states, however the Autobahn is just Awesome.
Good choice for a new bike (and apparently, good choice of significant other ---- getting permission to buy a new bike).

got a look at her yesterday, still in the box. (waiting to clear customs and to be assembled)
sold the Kat today (part of the deal with the wife) and i cant wait anymore.

Welcome young soldier! Spent 38 months in Germany myself but that's very ancient history. Keep your new ride off the Autobahn till you've got it broken in. :D

I wish i was still young!!! lol. This is my 2nd time being over seas.
I have plenty of country side roads to get her broken in around here, but i still cant wait to get her on the Autobahn.

its also funny how over here the German Kawi stores have this bike in 3 differ colors (black, gray and green) and the us store only has blue and green.
when i went to the german place just browsing, they told me that there is no blue and almost got into a argument over it.
Europe tends to have different riding preferences than North America so the markets aren't the same. US is dominated presently by cruiser type bikes, most sport bikes don't sell well here. If I were you I'd be looking in the German Kawi stores for accessories which we can't get. Make your new ride very different.

got her home on Monday and was able to get 200 miles before the rain decided to come in for the rest of the week.
