2015 Sargent Seat

I'm interested in replacing the stock seat eventually, and will probably end up going with the Sargent Seat. On their website, they have a seat listed for Ninja 1000 2010+. I have heard some people saying the 2015 seat is different from the 2014. Does anyone know for sure if the Sargent Seat for Ninja 1000 2010+ will fit on a 2015 Ninja 1000?

The 2015 seat is different from the 2014- seats. Make sure you plan for it.
Hi,
I'm a new member. Just joined a few minutes ago. Got a 2012 yesterday and drove it 150 miles home. The seat almost made me regret buying the bike. Definitely designed by a sadist. So I went straight away looking for seat threads and found this. I had a Corbin on my previous bike and have seen no mention of this brand in the thread.
Anyone can provide feedback about Corbin seats for this bike?
Thanks.
I have a corbin on my 14 & I like it a lot. It seems to me if you have had good luck with a corbin before you should stick with it.
has any one tried the sergent seat? is it in gel?
is the corbin seating position any different from stock? like more rearward?
thanks
The 2015 seat is different...it is slightly better than a 2012 I had...I don't slide forward as much and a tax nicer on the cheaks
2013 Corbin seat comment

My 2013 came to me with the stock seats and some nicely built Corbin leather seats. I prefer the stock but it is only good for an hour or two. This model of the Corbin slopes forward so much I cannot stop from sliding up to the tank (even with tank grip pads). Plus the leather is very slippery to fabric pants. Perhaps Corbin corrected the forward slope in newer models.
Has no one tried the Sargent seat? Need a good review on it before I decide to spend the money on it. It seems like there are basically three options: kawasaki aftermarket gel seat, corbin, or sargent. Are there other options?

I've got a seat done up by Seth Laam. Look up my gallery for a few pics. I'm loving it so far. Very comfy!

I also recommend seats from Russell Day-Long. I had them mod a seat for a previous bike and I liked it even better than the seat Seth did for me on this bike.

I did end up getting the Sargent seat (and can confirm that it does fit on a 2015).

The first thing I noticed about the seat is that when you sit on the bike you don't notice the seat at all, which seems like a good thing. With the stock seat, I definitely knew it was there, and anything over and hour would definitely cause soreness, sometimes less. I haven't done any long trips with the Sargent yet, but on a 45 min ride, I didn't think about it twice.

Lots of people have, there's a separate thread about seats already. Everybody's butt has a different opinion on which seat they like the most. The gel seats get uncomfortably hot if left in the sun, corbins are pretty stiff, and sargent is softer than the corbin. I bought a sargent and have no regrets. Takes more than 8 hours in the saddle per day to get sore compared to 8 minutes in the stock seat.
Seth Laam as well here. Love it. I wish we had something like the big ole gushy seat the Versys 1000 has. That thing looks very comfy.
I was just about to order a gel seat as well. Holy sticker shock!! I was expecting something like $150. Maybe my *** isn't all that sore after all LOL
I changed my stock seat on my 2012 model Ninja to a Sargent seat and it has made all the difference. Still puts you a little forward but for comfort it has made travailing long distance so much better.
