I currently have 3 bikes with three different tires. Michelin 2CT, Pirelli Supercorsa and Dunlop Q3+. All are great!

For maximum confidence I like the Q3 Plus. Just like the way they feel planted at deep lean angles.

Truth is........just about any sport tire from one of the major brands are pretty phenomenal in performance....not so much for wear.

I want to try the latest Michelin Roads next.

2013 Ninja 1000.....Osram Nightbreakers, Pazzo levers, Vesrah pads, Puig screen, R&G frame sliders / case covers / axle protector, Sargent seat, PC5 with Ivans fuel map and ECU reflash, Akrapovic full exhaust, forks and shock rebuilt by Traxxion Dynamics.

2019 Yamaha Tracer 900 GT.....ECU reflashed by Ivan.

I don't know enough about Shinko to have an opinion.
I have Dunlops on the Ninja and Avons on the cruiser.
My wife has Metzelers.
One boy has Dunlops and the other has Michelins.
I trust them all, except for the ones that are down to the wear indicators.

Regarding "Life on the line"...
My serious crashes (nearly 40 years ago) were the result of bad judgement and poor skills, not tire choice.

I am not "brand loyal" generally because one brand may make one great tire and another brand might make a better tire for another purpose. Also, most brands will have tires that will do just fine in whatever conditions, and unless you frequently work under extremes (or race) it's generally not going to cause a huge problem.

From the point of ignition to the final drive
The point of the journey is not to arrive

Please excuse my verbosity

So true! Except for stock rubber maybe; the tires that came on the N1K were borderline sketchy LOL

Oh wait!
I just realized...
Of course I would like the BT-016 -- I remember thinking the RB2 and K112 were street-racing perfection!

I don't know if they made any changes to the tires over the years but my bike is a 2014. I never had any real issues with grip but the front tire wore very badly almost immediately. On the fwy it would tramline quite a bit and in the corners, the lean was unpredictable. You would lean to a certain point and then it felt like the bike fell over; I almost dumped mine on a fwy onramp because of this; gave me a good scare.

It was like getting a new bike after swapping the front tire; I had no real complaints about the rear OE tire.

17 voters and only 30 votes for different brands. That's a average of each person trusting just less then 2 brands each. Or 1.76 different brands each to be more accurate, but reading the post its obvious some here with my self included trust more than one so that means we have some that are very faithful to one brand only or didn't notice that it was a multiple choice poll and wonder if I should have stated that before. I am know though so will see if it makes a difference.

@adm2204 think you can add the multiple choice fact into the original post?
