I did a sweep on Craigslist around my area and some border states and believe it or not the NK1 was a real bargain on there. I think the price ranged from $4900.00 to 7900.00 from a 2011 to 2016 year models, the highest mileage was 20,000 and the lowest around 3500 miles. Most people was wanting around 5 grand for 10- 13 year old 600 cc bikes. The gxsr’ from 750 cc up was ridiculously priced as the R1’s were. I’m thinking the NK1 is definately one hell of a bang for the buck, there is no way I could do on the other bikes listed what I do on the NK1, specially the 2- up riding up the steep mountains. I did see a 2014 concours that looked tempting at 7-grand. The funny thing is the NK1 will haul our big asses fast enough that I can put the scare on the wife and get a good cussing for it. The only reason I would need something like a ZX-14 is so some motorcycle would show lol while we are riding and to bring the pallion rider down on more my level.

That netflix Motley Crue movie is garbage. Especially sad because the book was so good. Neil Strauss wrote the book and the move makes you realize how brilliant he is.

@rcannon409 agreed that movies very seldom do a book any good with the exception for me being The Stand. I liked both.
Saw the Motley Crue show and wasn't impressed at all. Didn't know there was a book out but now that I've watched the movie doubt I'll read it.

The book is called, " the dirt" as bad as the movie was, the book makes up for it. When it wss released, the book was on the best sellers list. The book sold so many copies that it's easy to find one for 5.00. The book was a 10, the movie was a 2. Very worthwhile to read it. The fucking movie completely eliminated key characters, and all the thought and feling the book had.

Installed the new oil cooler this morning and then triple flushed the system which took forever. Each time was bout an hour but not so much as one drop of oil in bucket on the last draining. Was glad to cause O'Reilly's was out of the Preston oil encapsulating cleaner. Figure I'll stay on the lookout for any more oil in the degas tank and after maybe a month if I see any more do it again.

Hopefully you got it Kenneth, that’s something you don’t here much problems with. Some of the older Nissan Frontier trucks had a problem with the transmission cooler rupturing and taking the transmission out.

I asked the parts guy at the dealer (cause it's a dealer only item) if he had sold many of those and he said no not one for the 5.0, maybe three in four years for the 3.5 EB. And that he had to look up the picture when it came in just to be sure it was right. But it's done now and if it goes another 100,000 I'll be happy as a stripper on 2 dollar Tuesday.

I was thinking the other day that an old NK1 would make a cool rat rod, paint it flat black and of course it would need headers and urban brawlers to get attention, the louder the better, get rid of all the Kawasaki badging and people would be trying to figure out what the hell it is.
