I'm a forum junkie. Have been since I joined the Corvette forum in 2001. I thought I was pretty good at it. I have something like 27,000 post on the Corvette forum.

So I keep seeing this thread about someone obviously crying like a school girl over getting rid of his cbr. It is not going away. I finally had to see what's going on. Heck, maybe I can help the poor guy. As my years of forum expertise has taught me, if a thread won't go away, always start at the last page.

So I did...about an hour ago. Some funny shit here. Then I notice I'm on page 1136. Huh! I go back to page 1135...then 1134. No mention at all of the cbr or the poor guy who got rid of it.

So what do I do? Do I go back and read EVERY page?

Is my c14 a bagger? If so, I have a race to win.
Jesnen Beeler's a douche. He needs a double bagger in his butt. But other than that I would like to use his consulting services that he offers even when no one wants it.

Jim, remember when we were kids, and we were forced to watch the "Roots" tv show? Remember wondering how the slaves kept such incredible records when the punishment for reading, and writing was death?

Please jump into this thread. I'm not sure what it is, either. We do pretty well in bike problems, strokes, and knee surgeries.

Well, like Roots, the best way to read this thread is to read it backwards. If you view roots, backwards, Kunta-kinte goes back home. If you read this thread, backwards, Mark gets his cbr again, and his knee is back to 100%.

I thought it was silly when I suggested that adv bikes race. Now we have baggers? I dont think much of Jensen Beeler, either, but he does do a decent podcast.

I think Jay was alive when the thread started?

life is a mystery, that unfolds at it's own accord. In other words: how the fuck should I know!

One of you guys will know how to do this..,,

I need to place an outdoor temp probe. The thing is, I need this thing to be as accurate as possible. The problem I'm having is with the sun. It can be 20 degrees, but when the sunlight hits it, it will shoot up to 33-34 degrees. Maybe not that drastic, but if the sun hits it, it will see temps that are 8-10 degrees over reality. This sets off a chain of events that are making my life difficult.

The probe is the size of a small, round electrical box. Maybe 4-5 in diameter. The probe sticks out about 1 inch from the round box.

If I put an enclosure around it, to block the snow and sun, how can I prevent the enclosure from becoming a greenhouse? I'm not so concerned about the summer temp. I dont care if its 80 and the probe says 90. It's that 32 degree freeze point where it needs to be accurate.

We build a shade cover and place our heat trace panel thermostats 20 feet from any heat source 10 feet or more off the ground. They read fairly accurate like that. For critical systems we would install a redundant stat on the other side of the structure. Sometimes that's 1000 feet away.
