Removed ECU from my 2014 in prep for Ivan..Noticed spare connector in wire harness?

So I dropped the tail on my 14 and removed the ECU and in doing so I noticed that there is a spare bullet type connector in the wiring harness. I looked all over thinking it pulled out of somewhere when the tail dropped but i can't find anything it would connect to? I assume this is some sort of spare connector for an accessory? Looking for input from those who have pulled their ECU?

The older bikes had a grey wire that was used for abs diagnostics... i think thats what we decided it was for.

All bikes with ABS have the grey wire for abs diagnostics. At least it's in all the service manuals. You ground it and it puts the ABS controller in debug mode. The ABS controller is a bit like the ECU, a little computer with inputs and outputs so it has diagnostic codes to indicate what's going on.
