Wilbers 641 Rear Shock fitted

I’m riding a 14 bike, I only recently bought with 2,500k on it, yea I know, how come they don’t get ridden !!
Ridden all my life, bikes of all genres
Liking the Ninja, had an 11 model years back.

After having my front end sorted with Gold Valves & progressive Ohlins, the new Wilbers is like the icing on the cake.
I thought it felt a little on the harsh side sitting in the garage before I rode it. But nope it’s excellent. It’s lifted the rear end some, quickened the steering a little.
Feels so much better / safer / confidence inspiring. Can recommend. A LOT.
I got the remote pre load adjuster & ride height adjuster added, there custom made to your weight & you add extras if required.
Handling over everything else
Although I have got rid of the Cat & had a flash done ✅
She’s a GOER now 😎
Wouldn’t of spend as much $ if I’d bought a brand new bike.
Horses for courses ?
We all do things a little differently

JayDub, congrats on that top quality shock and the super sano install. Your pictures are great! Oddly enough, just an hour ago I was asking the guys at Wilbers USA if they had pictures of the Ninja 1000 application. They did not, but then I see your post here...too cool!

How does that remote reservoir (with compression adjusters) attach to the black plastic panel? It looks like there's a clamp of some sort in the mix.

Rickifumi, good timing then.
Yup there’s a bracket supplied for the reservoir, nice quality all round.
That was the only fiddly part to install.
Only an hour or so for the whole job.
Away on her still here in Oz, day 9 of 11.
So happy I put in the Wilbers.

Wilbers did a 641 for my past Aprilia RST1000 Futura and it was top notch. The present owner just had it serviced by Wilbers USA up in Scotts Valley, California and he gave them excellent marks for product support.
