2014 + mirrors on 2011 model

Hi all

Probably discussed before , would the 2014 model mirrors fit the 2011 bike as a direct replacement, I'm thinking of buying a set ,

I ordered my 2014 mirrors the day the parts breakdown was released for the "new" ninja 1000. Yes, they bolt right on.

They were a little too expensive, but still worth doing.

It sounds like you want every accessory I wanted. We will have to talk over the slipper clutch next!

The later model mirrors are longer so you can see beyond your elbows. It's also more shapely looking.

Ocl, I think they were also a little bit better with regards to vibration, in addition to what you already mentioned. A better mirror, for sure.

I thought I paid more, but Kawasaki shows their current cost to be around 80.00, each. I think they worth that.

I put those fisheye blind spot things on my 2012 (the ones you gave me). It helped A LOT. But yeah they do still vibrate. But the newer mirrors also vibrate. I'm ok with it.

The absolute BEST mirrors I've ever had were from my 2007 VFR800. Clear, smooth, and no view of elbows. I can not only see cars from a distance behind me, I can tell what kind they are. Awesome mirrors.

Totally agree. You could even see if the car behind had a light bar on top.
