Before any modifications I called it bouncing off the rev limiter as you would hit it hard enough to loose speed as seen in the video. After installing a S21, 190 55... at 3000 feet of elevation I could still bump the rev limiter but it was very gentle and would only loose maybe 1mph. After ivan's and the additional 500 rpm of course top speed increased on the dash and although it indacted the new rev limit was being reached I could never really feel it, or hear it.
I've played with a 200 55 and stock gearing, which gave me my best top speed, but now run a 17 41 back on 190 55 which nets me a 166 indacted and GPS reading of 164 at 10200 rpm. So obviously at this point I'm power limited and would have to drop a tooth on the front or maybe two on the rear to gain back some rpm back.
