Picture request: 2017+ Non-touring aftermarket windscreens

Hello to everyone here. I'm in the final stages of buying a (green) 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 1000. It's only got 3.2k miles and is in mint condition. The previous owner had a touring setup on it (which I don't particularly care for). The bike's currently got a tall and, in my opinion, hideous-looking wind screen. Ditching that windscreen is going to be the first thing I do.

Anyhow, I'm looking for a SPORTY-looking wind screen and right now the only one I've been able to find is a Puig "racer" wind screen. I'm not interested in the double-bubble look, either.

Pics please!! And if you've got the Puig racer screen, let's see some pics of those, too!

Not the best pics but here's a 15 with Puig Racing screen. These were taken with it in the middle or most upright position.

That Puig windshield, like chowder has, is very popular. Unless someone wants a touring shield. That Puig is kind of the automatic "go to" and is one of the few shields that's better than stock in almost all areas.

I did not find the Puig better than stock in ANY area. My experience is covered in another thread.

Very happy with my MRA Double Bubble. I feel it was a huge improvement over stock. I'm 6"1".

I recently switched from the Puig to a Vstream sport touring screen. They are about the same height but the Vstream is slightly wider at the top. There really is no comparison between them IMO. The Vstream is hands down the better screen for me. The wind blast on my helmet and chest is far less now than it was with the Puig.

They show about 30 total reviews here, and i dont know how many on the forums talked about the Puig.

21 top ratings, one person giving it one star.

Again, not my thoughts, or ideas, but the ratings and reviews tell the story.

Again, telling part of the story. And the original poster is curious about 2017+ screens, not 2011-2016 like the reviews you mention.

The Puig screen was discussed at length, on this forum, within the last several months. I had already bought one and finally installed it based on another member's input. He liked it, I did not, and another member got a screaming deal when I sold it. Fair enough?

If anyone cares to read it, it's easy to find that thread via the search tool. I gave a very objective and detailed writeup of my experience with it.

Over and out, time to go riding!

Its like every other product, isnt it? Its what you value, or you like.

I hate noise. Thats why i disliked the v stream touring. It did block wind, but my height, my helmet, my whatever made it noisy and i hated it for that. The adjustments also complicate ratings, too..Not all screens work well in all three positions.

Also, with this bike, the screens are cheap, and simple to change. You dont need to be stuck with just 1.
