mr.sand Glad to hear some good news for your daughter.
Avintage69 That's good news for sure Mark. At 11 I jumped down on an old foam mattress in a barn. There was a nail in it and up through my Patellar tendon and behind my knee cap it went. At 11 the body can heal a lot of ignorance and of course mine did completely. Hopefully she can too.

Rock Thank Goodness that's what it is. I had the same thing on my not as bad knee. It got normal after a month or so.
That's good to hear for sure. She'll be riding again in the spring and hopefully won't run off with that renegade biker

Mark59 Well good news on the kid today, all her main tendons and ligaments are intact, he said she tore the cartilage in between, so right now surgery is avoided, he locked her leg straight in a brace for 2 weeks, something about the patella tendon is shifting around, thank god she didn’t rip that, anyway she starts therapy in 2 weeks after a special brace he ordered comes in, it is suppose to hold the patella in position, then she goes back for an evaluation.

Mark59 It was hurting her and swelled yesterday, she is headed to the orthopedic surgeon now, so should know something after while.

Rock I guess we'll find out tomorrow. How's she feeling now? Swelling?

Mark59 Well the kid got her MRI today and she asked if they could tell if anything looked tore, they said we really can’t say but I will tell you not to put any weight on it at all, and her appointment with the orthopedic Dr. got moved up to first thing Monday insteads of the end of the week, I’m thinking she is screwed.

That sucks! A couple of years ago somebody filed a tax return with my and my wifes personal info. they had everything, address, ss #s, etc... Turns out the IRS got hacked. Now and for the rest of our lives, we have to send our returns to a special address with a pin# they send to us every year. F'N government.

There;s allot of stories like that. My cousin got hurt and wasn't able to work for an extended period. His workplace was near the top floor of Tower one. I'm sure he was very grateful for that injury.
