    Lee, this is something you really need to adress. Something is broken, and needs to be replaced. A stock throttle tube is cheap, and we can talk you through exchanging it. At a minimum, take the housing apart...two Phillip's screws, and see what's broken. The new parts are not expensive, and setting the cable play is about half the install of a new throttle tube.

    The throttle tube is weak between the bar section and the cable section. I picture that piece finally breaking and sticking the throttle, or leaving you with a grip that just twists a d wont turn the cables.
