Ride Up And Over Palomar Mountain

A few weeks ago, my friends and I did a ride to Palomar Mountain, located in eastern San Diego, County in California. I was the main camera bike so you won't see much of me except a few cockpit views. I was leading the group. The other riders were on a Triumph 675 and 765R, and my other friend was on a KTM 1290.

Schalicke and SoCalN1K like this.

Nice footage of a beautiful road. Would it be even better if the motorcycles were the soundtrack?

I'm trying. It's not easy to get the soundtrack without the wind overwhelming it. I tried mounting the microphone inside my jacket, inside my helmet, etc. But the only real way to get do it right is with a dedicated microphone buried underneath the seat then somehow synchronizing it to the video footage. I'm not quite there yet.

Having said that I enjoy the music soundtrack. Watching other people's vids, I feel that it completes the mood of the video. I'm learning as I go though and plan to make more creative videos with engine sounds only. The editing part and stitching them together to make the video coherent and interesting is the hardest part.
