This is all true, including Mark59's comments.

CA has a very strong economy able to support all these things but it is also EXTREMELY inefficient at allocating resources and the system is loaded with cronyism, nepotism, and corruption in government. The state is also loaded with layers of entitlement programs and the taxation for gasoline, auto registration, is bordering on socialism compared to other states. Then there's the liberal crime laws that is just ridiculous. The illegal problem is a HUGE problem and the state has sacrificed American citizens to enable it and a majority of liberal voters support it regardless of whom it is hurting. I can go on and on but I'll stop right there.

I love CA for its beautiful weather, scenery, landscape, rich history, etc. I even like a lot of people here. I'm glad for Space X & Tesla and JPL & Apple & Google, etc. and proud to have them here. I certainly LOVE riding my motorcycle here and really count my blessings every day that motorists are so aware of motorcycle lane sharing. Everyone is welcome here. But hot damn! The taxes, liberal policies of the government, the crime in the cities, and the traffic in the urban areas are choking me! 39 million people in CA makes it the most populous yet the unemployment rate is low (Thank you president Trump). Where I live the rate is 3%!!! Everyone has a job and hopefully doing well. It allows me to own a Ninja 1000 and enjoy riding it and I'm very thankful for that!

I don't know what town that is but I'm guessing it's a border town. There's just simply no way they can take care of all the illegals. Maybe the elitists should send some of their millions there way since they claim to want to help these people. The irony is they don't give a damn about these people.

The US is THE ONLY COUNTRY in the world with a porous border like that, allowing thousands of illegals to slip through. Then, gives them a hearing to review their case for "asylum", then taking care of them while they are here. Name a country that does that? Same problem with the EU with their African illegal migrants, demanding entry.

Since when was it okay for ANY illegal to demand entry and welfare and a trial? If I were to walk over to Mexico or Honduras without permission, and demand they take care of me and my family and expect them to issue me asylum, they would kick me out! And somehow the US is suppose to be obligated to do the opposite? I just don't get this logic from half the country I love so much. I don't understand why people do NOT understand the implications of an open, porous border, and the risks AND burdens that it puts on society. Anyone who advocates an open border should open the front and back doors to their homes to any and all comers FIRST. See how that works out for them!

Ok it's time to ride.
