My Fall Ride
Rode east on HWY 108 out of Oakdale, CA, then south on 395 and, finally, west over Tioga Pass and through Yosemite.
Great ride, but at 10,000 ft., it was COOOOLD!!!

Fall Ride 2018
Amazing ride to Tabiona via Wolf Creek Pass and back. Then up and over the Uinta Mountains to Evanston via Mirror Lake Highway. 321 miles round trip. Very pretty fall colors but too much smoke because of the wildfires.

How do you quiet a system with no baffles? You find a way to add some. The story begins with falling in love with the simple clean looks of the Urban Brawlers and already having purchased the Akra header. Well when those two were married the sound they produced was the war cry from the spawn of Satan. If you have every heard a MOTO GP race in person you can turn it up a notch and that was what you listened to daily. It was loud to say the least and I wore good ear plugs every where.
I once had a friend help and recorded 131 decibels on a fly by. that's louder than a rock concert, and almost as loud as a Jet in afterburner.
First try to tone it down of course was using the DB killers that came with them as is. To no avail though, not even a little. Maybe took some of the drone out but that was it.
So after a while I tore into it and with the one requirement of don't cut the Akra system up... what you see here is the end result. It sounds deep and gets Normal loud at full throttle but at cruise its not bad at all.

The Racing Years
I raced my entire career on Kawasaki's except for a brief period of 2 years when I rode the Suzuki GSXR750R-RR 1990. Unhappy with reliability of the dry clutch I returned to my blood line with the ZXR750M1-RR.
