chain adjuster allen size?

what size allen wrench for the chain adjustment? went through my tool box and I don't have anything close to that big a**- hole haha..

I believe its 12mm.

Lag. I did not get anything with my bike that would have been useful. What did yours have? I suspect a 12mm hex something?

I think it was easter sunday the first time I went to adjust my chain. Normal stores were closed, and Sears had a big, empty spot where th e12mm hex drivers should hang.

Of course, they had the set with the 7mm, 11mm, 13, etc that I would never use.

I ended up loctiting a nut on a bolt with a 12mm head. I think I still have it. I finally bought a driver, but this bolt and nut works very well...

Interesting and clever solution.

12mm thanks guys. I never looked in the tool pouch. is there one in there? hell I've never looked in any bike tool pouch. most times its cheap crapola anyway!

Cheep crapola, buck it works,,. I have 100's of hex but not that one,,. Was going to run out and grab one and
thought I would check out the on board tool pouch and low and behold,,.
Some folks claim you can do most things with those tools and I don't doubt it!!
